The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at 7:30 pm in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor Jacobson presiding and Councillors Wintoniw, Delaurier, Friesen, Moriaux, and Gray present. Councillor Whyte is absent with permission.

8.5 Swan Valley Sport Fishing Enhancement- Grant Request

WHEREAS the Town of Swan River Temporary Ice Surface Project has caused the Swan River Centennial Arena ice surface to be unable to be rented;
AND WHEREAS Swan Valley Sport Fishing Enhancement Inc. has, as a result, been forced to make last minute plans to hold its annual event that is normally held in the Centennial Arena, and has incurred extra expenses in order to do so;
THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River grant Swan Valley Sport Fishing Enhancement Inc. the amount of extra expenses as approved by the CAO to the maximum amount of $2,500.00.
