Family Programming Addresses Youth Related Topics

Submitted by: Shannon Cameron, Program Coordinator |

Swan Valley Communities That Care has completed another round of family programming. The Guiding Good Choices program was offered in five bi-weekly drop-in sessions called “Hot Topics: Teens”. Each session focused on specific challenges and strategies for interacting with youth aged 9 and up, including anger, boundaries, and peer pressure. Participants enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, informative conversations, as well as the connections made with other families.

Participation in family programming is FREE of charge, thanks to Swan Valley Communities That Care. Plans are underway to offer Triple P and Guiding Good Choices workshops again starting in the Fall.
