Swan Valley Co-op invests $2.2 million to construct Agro Centre at The Pas MB

Swan Valley Co-op is pleased to announce the construction an agricultural inputs facility in the RM of Kelsey Industrial Park near The Pas MB.

The facility will feature crop inputs, dry fertilizer, as well as animal health and feed products to supply to agricultural producers throughout the surrounding area. The project is currently in the due diligence phase with expected completion in Spring 2019.

“This new site will provide a much-needed local source for producers to obtain their annual crop input requirements. We’re excited to provide this service to area agricultural producers,” said Jim Sutherland, Agro Manager.

“Swan Valley Co-op is thrilled for the opportunity to partner with farm customers in The Pas. Our commitment is to build long lasting trust relationships with area producers in line with our corporate values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Community,” said Colin Peters, General Manager of Swan Valley Co-op. “Making these sustainable investments is one of many ways we grow our communities, whether it’s by supporting local agricultural producers that are feeding the world right here in our local area or creating new local employment opportunities.”
