Submitted by: Nancy Cocks | The Sunflower Early Learning Centre (SELC) held a very successful Princess & Superhero Party on Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Minitonas Community Hall.

Parents and children came dressed in costume and enjoyed a hotdog lunch, penny auction full of wonderful prizes, a dance party and many fun activities including a photo booth, digging for buried treasure and Hulk wall smash, just to name a few.

In addition to the activities the children got to hang out with Spiderman and Belle and have their faces painted by Batgirl and Wonder Woman.

Despite all of our efforts and advocating to the provincial government, SELC has been waiting over a year to receive it’s government funded operating grant so we rely heavily on fundraisers to keep our doors open. We are very appreciative of all the local support and wish to thank the following people and organizations for their generous donations:
