Our goal was to have our Canada 150 Circle of Friends cement pad, sidewalk and sign installed before the snow and it is completed and beautiful!

The existing material was removed, the cement forms were installed, and the next day the concrete was delivered. It has a beautiful exposed aggregate finish that is slip resistant and we are hoping that this rest area is going to be used for many years by the entire population of Minitonas as well as all who visit our town. This surface and the new sidewalk makes the picnic table and garden accessible for wheelchairs as well as the young and not so young! It is going to be so easy to maintain a tidy look with much less maintenance than before.

We unveiled our new Canada 150 Circle of Friends sign with our community and friends invited for cupcakes and coffee on Friday, September 29, 2017. A beautiful sunny day was enjoyed by all!

It was a pleasure working with a couple of local businesses. Grazier manufacturing designed and created our signage labeling our area as a Canada 150 initiative. Cement Works was fast, friendly and efficient in preparing and delivering the concrete Circle of Friends sidewalk and picnic area base.

We commend the Community Foundation of Swan Valley for its great work in supplying funds to help local groups and organizations do various things in our Swan Valley. We sincerely thank the Foundation for choosing the TTG Club as one of the recipients to receive help this year.
