The Swan River Host Committee for the 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship is proud to announce the signing of Westman Communications Group as the Presenting Sponsor for the 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships, being held in Swan River November 12 – 18, 2017.

Westman Communications Group offers High Speed Internet, Television, and Home Phone services in the Swan River and Minitonas communities as well various communication services in another thirtyfour communities across Western Manitoba. “Westman has a proud history of supporting curling in its member communities, and we were thrilled with the warm response we received when we launched our Internet and Enhanced Video offerings in the Swan River region in 2015,” stated Courtney Baxter, Marketing Team Lead for Westman Communications Group. “It was a great fit and an excellent way for Westman Communications Group to show that they are an exceptional community partner. We are proud to be able to support this terrific event at the Presentation Sponsor level.”

With the signing of the presenting sponsor, the event will now be referred to as the 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, presented by Westman Communications Group. The Host Committee is in the process of developing a layout for tickets, programs and merchandise that will feature that wording.
The 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship will take place in Swan River, Manitoba, November 12 – 18, 2017 at the Swan River Curling Club. It will feature the top 14 mixed curling teams from across Canada. There will be excellent curling, entertainment and socializing throughout the 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship.
