Pine Creek Man Missing From Duck Mountain Logging Camp

On July 24, 2017, just before 1:30 pm, Prairie Mountain RCMP received a report of a missing person from a logging camp in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, approximately 25 kilometres northwest of Roblin, Manitoba.

Mark Anthony McKelvey, 36, originally from Pine Creek, walked away from the camp at approximately 8:00 am on July 24, 2017. Coworkers conducted an initial search and contacted RCMP when they had not located McKelvey.

RCMP, Sustainable Development and the logging company continued the search. With McKelvey still missing, the RCMP Search and Rescue Team and the Office of the Fire Commissioner have joined the search efforts.

McKelvey is described as Metis, 5’7”, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. He was wearing a black tee-shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots.
