Tigers’ Bring a Family Member Bowling Tournament

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 the Special Olympics Manitoba Parkland Region’s Tigers’ Bowling Team wrapped up their season with a Bring a Family Member Bowling Tournament. Six teams competed in the tourney.

Lucas Henson and Joanne took 1st place with +76 pins over average, Justin Ames and Owen 2nd with +71 pins over average and Jamie Brass and Carrie 3rd with +67 pins over average.

Lucas Henson and Allison Landel qualified at last month’s tournament to compete in 5-Pin Bowling at the Special Olympics Manitoba Summer Games in Brandon on June 16-18, 2017 and will continue bowling weekly to keep up their scores.

A big thank you to Kevin and Desiree Fisher of Up Your Alley Bowling Centre for all their help and support over the bowling season. Also thank you to the Coaches and volunteers, who are the backbone of Special Olympics. Without them our programs would not exist.
