MLA Rick Wowchuk presented the final payment of $12,729.30 from Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund to Swan Lake Watershed Conservation District.

Receiving the cheque is Stephanie Reid, the Swan Lake Watershed Manager and Walter Kolisnyk, Chair of Swan Lake Watershed Conservation District Board.

The Manitoba Provincial Government supported the District project with the Fishway at the Swan River Ford Crossing near the golf course. The entire project was $122,000 and the Manitoba Government is proud to provide funding throughout the Province through the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund for projects that meet the criteria put forth.
