Swan Hills Ranch stock were also featured in the Farm Credit Canada Breeders Alley which showcases various cattle breeds throughout the Parkland Region. “One of the advantages we have is access to local veterinarian and international embryologist, Dr. Keith Immerkar.” said Swan Hills Ranch owner, Scott Tibble. “Having that service so close really helps us tap into the best of Angus genetics.”

Tibble commented that it was a good show with entries up from last year and some tough competition. He is expecting the competition to be even tougher as the next stop on the exhibition trail for Swan Hills Ranch is the Canadian Western Agribition. The event takes place in Regina on November 21 – 26, 2016 and has been billed as is “the best beef show on the continent and the largest livestock show in Canada.”
