Two students from Benito were recognized for having the first and second place winning entries in the 2015-2016 Manitoba State level of the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest.

Rachel Negrave (left) won 1st Prize for the Alcohol Division Age 12-14 and Anika Badowski (right) won 2nd Prize for the Drug Division Age 12-14.

The contest is an annual competition with winning entries progressing to local, district, state and international levels of competition.

The presentation was made Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Benito by Bill Zebinski on behalf of the Knights of Columbus.
