The evening was organized by a few friends and relatives of Colleen’s to help her out with some of the large expenses she has been dealing with her medical issues. Colleen has suffered with many side effects of diabetes such as sight and kidney problems. There have been countless trips to Winnipeg, treatments, surgeries and medications that have created very large expenses. The results of this fundraiser will be a big help with these expenses.

The evening started with a pot-luck dinner that was great with an unbelievable array of food. The dance followed with the music of “The Whiskey Creek Band”, and the dancers kept the dance floor full.

During the evening there were various activities such as a draw for a door prize, Heads or Tails Game, Silent-Bid Auction and Live Auction.

The Progressive 50/50 was drawn and Sarah Campbell was the lucky winner of $1550.

At a break in the dancing there was an amazing fireworks display put on. It certainly created some excitement and enjoyment for the crowd.

The Go Fund Me Page is still active and has also been a source of donations. As well, there is a Medical Fundraiser for Colleen Keefe at the Royal Bank that donations can be made directly to. The fundraising committee are very grateful to all the kind individuals that gave so generously to this very worthwhile cause.
