Family Believes Fentanyl Was Motive in Local Homicide

Darlyn Hunt and Jenni Sandilands, daughters of Rene Di Stefano, AKA “Rambler”, believe their father was killed over the Fentanyl prescribed to manage his pain from cancer.


Di Stefano was found deceased inside his home on August 8, 2015 following a suspicious fire that fully engulfed the residence. RCMP Major Crime Services are investigating s death as a homicide.

The family has appealed to anyone with information to come forward and speak with investigators.
