RESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as amended.

RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 2nd, 2015 shall be adopted as circulated.

4. L. Mychalchuk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize payment of the List of Accounts numbered 527 to 632 inclusive, amounting to $204,619.91.

5. L. Mychalchuk – S. Walmsley
WHEREAS council has met with the Minitonas Fire Chief, Ken Malley to discuss the department firefighting responses to RM of Mountain – South; and
WHEREAS representatives from the RM of Mountain attended the June 20, 2011 Fire Committee Meeting of the previous Town of Minitonas and RM of Minitonas and clarified their desire NOT to have the Minitonas Fire Department provide fire protection services, as they feel they currently have sufficient fire protection within their own municipality and Mutual Aid District, and;
WHEREAS there is an existing resolution in effect from the previous Town of Minitonas and RM of Minitonas regarding this issue stating that the Minitonas Fire Department will not respond to fire calls in the RM of Mountain – South because no firefighting 911 Fire Protection Agreement has been signed,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Fire Department shall be advised that, until further notice, they should NOT respond to 911 Fire Calls in RM of Mountain – South;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT should the RM of Mountains come to the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman in the future with a request for 911 Fire Protection and an agreement for provision of such services, the Council will be open to consider their request.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to sell the CAT 933 Track Loader at the upcoming Eisner Auction Sale on June 27th, 2015.

7. S. Walmsley – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT the Council does hereby agree to appoint Stan Anderson to the Minitonas Fire Department on the recommendation of Minitonas Fire Chief – Ken Malley.
Carried.

8. J. Caruk – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT By-law No. 9/2015, being a by-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of adopting a Financial Plan for the 2015 Fiscal Year, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of June, 2015 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does herby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.

10. L. Mychalchuk – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT the attached request for leave shall be approved by the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman.

11. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize the CAO, on behalf of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman, to sign the Master Agreement between the Government of Manitoba and the Member Municipalities of the Swan Valley District Recreation Commission.

12. G. Bartel – J. Caruk
WHEREAS the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council has reviewed the documents submitted by the Crown Lands and Property Agency regarding the sale of the property known as the NE 29-38-25 WPM and;
WHEREAS the municipality has no issues or objections to the sale of said Crown lands;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the CAO shall be hereby authorized to submit a response in approval of the aforementioned sales.

13. L. Mychalchuk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to continue past curfew by majority of council in accordance with current Procedures By-Law.

14. L. Mychalchuk – L. Hutman
WHEREAS Louisiana – Pacific Canada Ltd. has approached the Municipality regarding drainage problems around their property known as SE 16-36-25W; and
WHEREAS the Municipality has inspected the area in and around the aforementioned property and agrees that the drainage system is not moving water as it should; and
WHEREAS the Municipality is in favor of entering into an agreement with LP to jointly correct the drainage;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council does hereby agree to enter into an agreement with Louisiana – Pacific Canada Ltd to correct the aforementioned situation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby authorized the Reeve and CAO to sign on behalf of the Municipality.

RESOLVED THAT By-law No. 7/2015, being a by-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman to govern the organization of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council and the committees thereof, shall be read a third time this 6th day of June, 2015 A.D., signed by the Reeve, and signed and sealed by the Chief Administrative Officer.

RESOLVED THAT By-law No. 8/2015, being a by-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of regulating the proceedings and conduct of the Council and the committees` thereof, shall be read a third time this 16th day of June, 2015 A.D., signed by the Reeve, and signed and sealed by the Chief Administrative Officer.

WHEREAS the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council has determined that, under the terms of By-Law No. 2/2007, the condition of the attached properties has become unsightly, a nuisance and possible danger to the public;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the owners of the aforementioned properties shall be given written notice advising them that the condition of said property must be rectified by the deadline of June 26th, 2015 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT should the condition of the property not be corrected by the aforementioned date, the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council shall provide authorization for the work to be completed and the associated costs of said work shall be billed to the property owners accordingly.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 11:45 p.m. to meet again on July 7/15 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
