Folk Fest a Feast for the Senses

Approximately 2,000 people attended the Swan Valley Folk Fest on June 12 & 13, 2015 at the Swan River Curling Rink.

The curling rink was filled with the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of 13 different countries and cultures.

The entertainment lineup featured a variety of traditional songs, music and dance from a variety
of countries and cultures.

Children from several schools joined the audience during some of the Friday performances.

The booths featured items, food and information depicting the history and heritage of each of the featured cultures.
