Special Olympics Manitoba Parkland Region was very happy to receive donations from The Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre and the Northwest Metis Council.

Accepting the donation for Special Olympics in green and black is:
L-R Jeremy Stephen, Ricky Zimmer, Angie Ferland and John Schabert.

Both organizations contributed $250 each to the Special Olympics Athletes to help cover transportation costs for out of town competitions.

Presenting the cheques is Bernice Chartrand, Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre board member and Chairperson Manitoba Metis Federation Swan River Metis Local.
