A Message of Encouragement at Trevor Baker Concert

Driving through snow, blowing snow, and slippery road conditions, Trevor managed to travel from near Saskatoon all the way to Minitonas for a morning concert live on Sunday where he shared through speaking and songs.

A decent sized crowd also braved the ice and the fresh blanket of snow to come and be encouraged and challenged by the message he shared.

Trevor opened the time by singing O Canada, including the other original verses of the anthem and it was followed by a time of prayer together for our country, it’s leaders and the many servants who help to keep it “glorious and free”.

With the remaining time, Trevor shared several songs he has written along with the stories and inspirations behind most of them.

Every song and story also offered a chance for each person listening to reflect on questions such as:

“What are the real priorities in this life? Why is what is popular so often seen as right or acceptable? What do you really believe?” and many other similar reflections to consider.

Before he packed up to head to another concert in Dauphin, folks had a chance to meet Trevor and pick up some copies of his music which was offered for free, or people could also donate if they wanted to.
