With 600 pounds of lobster fresh from Halifax, NS, piles of steaks and 150 pounds of mussels, nobody went hungry at Kinsmen Lobsterfest at the Swan Valley Historical Museum on Saturday, June 7, 2014.

The Swan River Kinsmen and their spouses looked after the preparations, cooking and serving for the mouth-watering event. The meal started with mussels cooked in white wine and garlic.
The friendly, and very fashionable, servers kept the food coming for the hungry crowd.
With Lobster as the main attraction, the Kinsmen Club cooked cases of live lobster, which were steamed whole, cracked and cleaned for easy eating, then served up whole along with steak, and several side dishes.
It was a great evening of food, fun and friends with proceeds going to the Swan River Kinsmen/Larsen Brunel Children’s Medical Trust Fund.
Later in the evening live entertainment was provided by Terri & The Side Dishes.
