On Saturday, May 31, 2014 the Royal Purple hosted a 60th Anniversary Tea at the Elks Hall in Swan River.

They were honoured with the presence of Hetty Pawlinsky and Betty Riddell.

Both ladies are charter members of the Swan River Royal Purple Lodge which was instituted September 10, 1954.

The guests in attendance were treated to dainty sandwiches and lemon and strawberry filled angel food cakes( a long time favorite at teas).
