RCMP Arrest Two Men in Swan River Robbery and Assault

On March 24, 2014 at about 6:30 PM the Swan River RCMP received a ‘911’ call regarding a robbery on the 700 block of Main street, in Swan River, MB.



A 38 year old female from Swan River who received minor injury during the robbery (& theft of beer), was subsequently transported to the Swan Valley Health Centre, where she was kept overnight for observation.

Police investigation lead to the arrest of several intoxicated persons, with two (2) males being formally charged for the robbery.

Thirty-four (34) year old Darcy Norman Audy, of Swan River, has been charged with Robbery with Violence, Assault, Theft under, and 2 counts of Failing to Comply with a Recognizance.

Thirty-one (31) year old Eugene Marcel Duncan Audy, also of Swan River, has been charged with Robbery with Violence, Assault, and 2 counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.

Both accused have been remanded in custody to March 27, 2014 to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court.
