The Swan Valley Christmas Cheer Board delivered 51 hampers this year (amounting to 170 people receiving a little extra help this Holiday Season).

Each hamper provides food for 3-4 weeks & gifts for every recipient, freeing up limited family resources for the additional expenses we all incur during our cold Manitoba winters.

Special thanks goes out to the Salvation Army for again purchasing all our meat hampers and turkeys. The organizing committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses, organizations, churches, schools and individuals who gave generous donations of non-perishable food items & gifts, as well as the many cash donations received. The cash donations make it possible for us to purchase grocery items to top up our hampers.

We cannot thank the individual volunteers & schools who gave their time so freely during this busy Holiday Season to help sort, pack & deliver the hampers.

This overwhelming support made it another successful year for the Swan Valley Christmas Cheer Board.

May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
