On October 17, 2013, just before 2 am, emergency crews responded to a 911 call of a couch on fire.
All residents were evacuated from an apartment building in the 100 block of 5th Avenue South in Swan River, MB.
The couch was moved onto the front lawn. The couch burnt and no injuries were reported. The fire is considered to be non-suspicious, however alcohol may have been a factor.
