RCMP Investigate Fatal Accident Near Pine River

RCMP Media Release | On June 22, 2013 at about 5:30 am, Dauphin RCMP and local area EMS responded to a single motor vehicle collision about four miles north of Pine River on Highway 10.

RCMP and EMS arrived on scene and found the driver, identified as a 51-year-old Camperville woman, critically injured. She was transported to the Dauphin Regional Health Centre where she succumbed to her injuries a short while later.

Early investigation indicates the driver was traveling south on Hwy 10 when she lost control of the car and rolled. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The investigation into what lead to the collision continues with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Analyst.

The name of the deceased will not be released.
