Hillsview Has Talent – An Entertaining Afternoon

Submitted by Wade Dale | What a wonderful way to spend your Sunday afternoon listening and enjoying the talents God has given to the some of the members of The Hillsview Pastoral Charge. With Rev. Kathy Highmoor as MC for the afternoon talent, she got the ball rolling .





Gordon Jerffery is always a crowd pleaser with his talent on the violin and
his gift of song.









The Minintonas Knox United Church choir used their calling in song to lull the gathering.







Those of us who can not sing, play an instructment or dance used there talents to set the mood for the afternoon “Of Being Called”



George Harris of Bowsman used his talents of the spoken word to grace the crowd with a poem (by memory)

Kathy Booth graced the group with two number on the penio “Hallelujah”, and “Angles Among Us”.


















With two squares the Swan Valley Square Dancers entertain us with a couple of numbers. The group is celebrating their 60th anniversary and it was very special to have founding members Beth and Gordon Jeffery in attendance. The feet were moving the dresses were swinging.




Bowsman United Choir brighten the afternoon with their voices in song and praise.







Laura Henderson gave a drama reading of “The Cremation of Sam McGee”.















Brad Slipka used his calling by favoring the crowd with his violin.





The Minitonas Players brought the house down with a comedic play.

All in all it was a great Sunday Afternoon to be entertained by members of the Hillsview Pastoral Charge.
