On July 15, 2012 at about 5:20 p.m., Swan River RCMP were dispatched to an altercation at a Swan River residence involving two adult females.

A 27-year-old Swan River woman was treated for minor injuries at the Swan Valley Health Centre, and was released into police custody.

A 30-year-old Swan River woman was Life Flighted with life threatening injuries, has undergone surgery and is currently in stable condition.

Charged with Aggravated Assault is 27-year-old Nicole Louise GUIBOCHE of Swan River, Manitoba. GUIBOCHE was remanded into custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court on July 17, 2012.

Charges are pending against the 30-year-old woman.

Police continue to investigate. No further information is available this time.
